Dr. Kendra L. DeBerry is originally from Abilene, TX. She completed her undergraduate work there at McMurry University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. DeBerry earned clinical honors in professional practice while attending school and completed specialty rotations in disease management and low vision. Upon completing her last rotation at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, she joined First Eye Care in 2009. Her areas of interest are low vision, pediatrics, and treatment and management of ocular disease.

A big Dallas Cowboys fan, Dr. DeBerry enjoys watching all Dallas sporting events, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
